Tameka Ruger - Owner/Teacher

Tameka Ruger began her dance career at the age of three and has been dancing for over twenty years studying ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, modern, and liturgical dance. She has utilized her dance skills through the Atlanta Hawks Dance Team, stage-plays, tours, television commercials and talk shows. Tameka graduated from Spelman College in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics. Currently, Tameka is a REALTOR®, Dance Instructor at Triple 7 Dance Studio, and the owner of Little Stars Dance & Tumbling. She is a member of Clifton United Methodist Church where she directs the dance ministry. Dance is a major part of Tameka’s life and she enjoys sharing her talent and teaching the future super stars. 

 
 
 

Sharmaine Sheppard - Teacher

Sharmaine Sheppard was born and raised in Atlanta, Ga. She started dancing at the age of 15 at Triple 7 Dance Studio in Snellville, Ga under studio owner, Tamara Whitehead. She studied and is still currently studying hip hop, jazz, ballet, tap, modern, and contemporary. She danced there until she graduated high school. She attended The New School in New York City where she double majored in Psychology and Dance. There she met “Rokafella” and trained with her and Full Circle at The Point. She then became a member of Full Circle Souljahs all-style all-girl group, The Hardrocks. Performances include the 2018 NYC Dance Parade, Tap City at Symphony Space, Boxed In, Coney Island Breakers Reunion, and Behind the Groove at Times Square. When she wasn’t performing, she taught dance at different after school programs in NYC. Currently, she is continuing her training at various dance studios in Atlanta.
